Have you heard? Hasbro is letting fans choose the next word to be added to the Merriam-Webster’s Official SCRABBLE Players Dictionary. Pretty exciting when it hasn't been updated in 9 years!
It's all taking place on the Hasboro Game Night Facebook page via their Scrabble Word Showdown. Some of my favorite suggestions are: ew, photobomb, and emoji. It's fun just reading some of the suggestions!
Be sure to get your word (or words) in by March 28th. On April 2nd Hasbro will reveal 16 finalists and let people vote for their favorite. The winning word will be announced on April 10th, but the revised dictionary won't come out till August.
